Moose in Franconia...

Was up in Franconia last night, and was lucky to see a roadside moose in Sugar Hill. Fired off a lot of shots, here's my favorite! A bit of a different environment from the ones Patrick posts this time of year. He wasn't skittish at all, even when a van load of loud teenagers showed up!

Don't see them often, but what a privelage when you do!

Cool Shot, looks like a postcard!!

I have a place in Newbury, NH and we have a local moose who like to walk down our driveway...my sister almost ran into him coming out of the house once...They sure are big!!!

Awesome capture...excellent focus, and the light on the grass is special and the grass really backs up the moose very well. You've gotten scary-good photography.

This is probably a yearling, therefor his first set of antlers. Nice-looking moose. Congrats again!
