Wonderful images. I particularly like the one in B&W in the misty woods. I've also never seen an image of Franconia Ridge that I didn't love and this one is no exception. Thanks for taking us into the mountains...

Great pics! I was debating a solo hike of lafayette and lincoln this weekend and I think you just helped me make up my mind!

Thanks for all the responses! I highly recommend the Franconia Ridge Loop.
The misty shot was taken along the Willey Range Trail on a foggy/rainy day early this August.

Very nice images! I like the mood in the third image. It feels like being at high elevation when the mountain is shrouded in clouds and mist. Bravo :)
Thanks for starting this thread. Your pictures are great and remind us all of hikes in those areas. HoJo's sure is different in the summer (I normally get there mostly in the winter).
Here are a few shots from yesterday.

Brad - Great shots. The Sugarhill on is great. But my favorite out of the four is definitely the Beaver Pond shot. The reflection is amazing!

I was wondering if anyone knew the name of this flower. I saw it when hiking on Southern Presidentials in May. Thank you.

Thank you Brad. Alex MacPhail of http://whitemountainsojourn.blogspot.com/ knew the name of the flower. Its called Rhodora, or Rohodendron canadenses.
