Nice photo Brad! That train station is so nice. Every time I'm in NH, I have to stop there and walk around it, and the rail yard.

Yes, but a nice ride on an old train up through the notch helps to work off that ice cream.

Charlie and I ducked up to the Balsams this morning to see what things were like. Some color is coming through and it really looks nice.

Nice pic Brad. Hope you don't mind, but I took the liberty of returning the sunset you missed because of the clouds. ;)

Brad,
I love the shot of the train tracks in Crawford Notch with the storm brewing. Very, very nice! All of them are great, but that is my favorite!
Thanks,

Brad, that's my favorite shot too.It has an eerie quality to it; so you can almost feel the wind about to buffet you and the raindrops hit your face.
Mark, really like the lighting in your photo.

Mark, a very cool shot. Funny we took them in almost the exact same spot.
On the train tracks picture, I had driven north through Franconia Notch heading for route 2. But, the radar map showed the storm being real close so I headed east on route 302 instead. As I was getting in the car after taking that photo the rain started.

Wow, very nice. Filtered or no?

No filter. I only own one polarizing filter for one of my lens and never use it. It was shot at 150mm, ISO 200, f/5, and 1/2000th of a second. It was about 40 MPH winds and I had to shoot fast.

Here some pictures from a recent trip to New Hampshire - fall foliage, waterfalls, and more. Many of these pictures were shot while hiking with Jim this past weekend.

The lighting was very cool this morning as the sun came up. So, I raced over to Moose Pond (between Bridgton and Fryeburg, Maine) and waited for the light - and it was not as good. Oh well - but I did get this one.
