I was on another site (http://ihasahotdog.com) and found an awesome video about the mountain, from a unique perspective.

"On August 18, Lucy, a dog who was paralyzed in a car accident, became the first wheelchair-bound dog to ever reach the summit of Mount Washington?the tallest peak in the Northeastern United States.

This intrepid goggie uses a Walkin? Wheels dog wheelchair to get around. The device was donated to her in 2008 by HandicappedPets.com"

All I can say is.... Wow. What a great story. Having had the joys and challenges of living with a paralyzed dog, I can't imagine the joy and pride the dog felt making the trek with her owners, and the same emotions the owners had in making the hike with their dog.

Wonderful story, beautiful views, somewhat-well prepared hikers, listening to the wind... One more facet of story that is Mount Washington.

I remember seeing this story come out a month or so ago when it happened. Very nice story. I'm sure something that all MW and dog lovers can appreciate.

Thanks,
Karl
