After reading the Observer Comments this morning, it reminded me of the man that gave the Mt. Wash forecast on TV years ago. I think it might have been channel 8? The family would gather around and wait for him to give that big smile of his when he was finished! :D We got the biggest kick out of that! Do you remember?

I never watched Marty Engstrom, but he was a New England icon for many years. People still ask about him all the time.

That's great. I can remember being at my grandparents house in Lincoln NH 30 years ago when on a good day you could get 3 channels. I could never wait to see Marty's report.
