Snow Miser

This past weekend, my brother, a good friend, and myself were fortunate enough to join a great group of people for an Overnight EduTrip. This was a trip I happily won for reaching a certain donation level in last summer's Seek the Peak. The prize was for two, but we purchased another spot for the third person.
The trip was absolutely fantastic! Lead by Michelle Cruz, with course material on Weather Basics taught by Marsha Rich. We all learned a lot about the topic of weather, which we could tell Marsha is very passionate about.
Anyone who loves this mountain, and has an interest in one of the EduTrip (http://www.mountwashington.org/education/edutrips/) topics, I strongly urge you to consider attending one someday. You will be impressed!

In this photo, we are gathered in the parking lot, waiting to walk down to the maintenance shed where the Snow Cat is waiting.

One neat thing about these EduTrips is that we can take turns sitting up front with Wayne our driver. I got to go first. Here we go!

Part way up, we stopped to get out and experience the views, cold, wind and blowing snow.

We had class Saturday afternoon, and this was the continuation on Sunday morning. Sorry it's a little blurry.

I would personally like to thank Michelle, Marsha, and the whole Obs crew for making our stay a memorable, fun, and educational experience.
