hello everyone, I'm back in my beloved White Mtns. Here are a few pics from my first hike back, exploring a nice hemlock stand low on Mt. Chocorua...

He recently dropped his antlers. He was browsing away and we hung out together for a couple hours.

Great to have you back Patrick (or should I say great to have you home)! Clearly your friends in the woods feel the same way. As always, you can see the look in those eyes. Just wonderful.

Absolutley beautiful. I do not see any fear what so ever in his eyes. They really trust you. Welcome home and I look forward to seeing more of your pics.

Outstanding that you are back as are your new photos. There's no place like home; especially if it's the White Mountains.

very true; and I can only hope one day I can call them home, even if only for a few winter months of the year...... Everytime I visit on my return flight to Florida I start my dreaming & planning a way to get back up to your beautiful mountains
