This past Sunday (03-Apr-2011) I did two hikes in the area of Jackson, NH.

Hike 1: Hall's Ledge (reached by starting at the trailhead on Route 16)

Hike 2: Black Mountain (reached by starting at the trailhead on Melloon Road, which is a side road off the Carter Notch Road).

Great stuff John! What a wonderful time of year. Still plenty of snow, waters starting to rise, skies still winter crystal blue. Awesome. Leave it to you to find such a great way to use not just one but two hikes to turn all that great potential into a perfect day. The wanders to unfamiliar spots are great as always.
