found a nice area on a mountain I explore every spring looking for moose antlers...

I like these birch glades with ferns underneath. The ferns turn a rich golden brown when they die. Soon they will be back.
Found 11 antlers, but only two of them were fresh drops. The rest have been there at least a year.

It was an interesting day for weather as well, with periods of clear skie and then light showers and dark clouds.
