Shown below are a couple of snapshots taken on a 09-November hike that included White Horse Ledge and Cathedral Ledge in the North Conway area of NH. My Blog (click HERE (http://1happyhiker.blogspot.com/2011/11/short-gallop-to-white-horse-ledge.html)) has a few more photos, plus a brief story about this trek.

Thank you John, such pretty pictures and I like the TR. Even the picture with the "unfavorable lighting conditions:, came out great.

I Love Echo lake, such a great place to spend a summer afternoon...:)

Thank you Kathy for the kind words about my Blog report and my photos.
Speaking of photos, I just noticed that your current avatar shows a beautiful black cat. Many years ago, a cat similar in appearance allowed us to share its life with him.
(As a "cat person", you surely know what I mean;)).

John,
Seems there is still some fine foilage colors remaining so late in the season. Great photos! We're still waiting for the leaves to fall here.

Donna:)

Thank you for the kind words!

Regarding your statement about still waiting for the leaves to fall down your way in Maryland, perhaps they'll still be hanging on when we venture down that way in about a week from now. We'll be making a whirlwind trip to visit relatives in KY, NC and DE.

Very nice photos John! It's nice to see that there is still some color up in NH. And as Donna mentioned, there will still be a lot of color down this way for you to enjoy on your trip. Thanks for sharing.

Bob, thank you!

As I recall it, you live in southern PA. It's nice to read that you still have some autumn color there as well. Hopefully, there will still be some left to enjoy when we go whizzing through!

Hi John, I am actually a dog person, I've had a dog almost my whole life. One lab mix and now I'm on my 3rd Mini Schnauzer (Like Atticus).

This black kitty is my BF's, when he lived in E. Hartfod he took her in as a beat up stray. I am actually allergic to cats, but when he moved here I didn't have the heart not to let her too, we would just see how it went. She's been with us here about 4 years and I've actually become somewhat immune to her, but sometimes they act up. I never thought I'd ever have a cat, but I just love her so much. It surprises me that they also have a personality like a dog, she's loving and playful, amazing for a beat up stray that no one loved.

PS. I believe that in the past you said that you use a piont and shoot camera? If you do and you don't mind sharing, I would like to know what kind, I'm trying to pick out a new one.
Thanks, Kathy

Kathy, I'm uncertain if they still manufacture the camera that I use, but it is a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS1.
