Mt Cabot Deep Freeze - 2/13/12

We had a great day on Monday in the middle of our three day weekend in the Whites hiking Mt Cabot with Mike and Donna (Jimmy Legs and Little D). It was one of the coldest days of the winter but we kept warm and despite the snow and wind on the way up were treated to a bluebird summit!

Thanks for sharing, I really enjoy reading about everyones hikes.
I think it's so cool that they have those little houses on some trails where you can relax a bit.

Thanks everyone.

Kathy - the cabin used to be used by the fire wardens. It is now maintained by the local Boy Scouts. It is now available for hikers and there are 4 bunks in the back room that can be used for overnights. There is no fee - it's on a first come, first served basis. Pretty nice.
