I was wondering how everything was built on the summit. I assume it was no easy task with the weather being so unpredictable and the wind so strong. How did they do it?

In the summer. Besides that I'm not really sure. I'm guessing it took more than one summer to complete the Sherman-Adams building.

Back when they were building the Sherman Adams building (late 70s or eraly 80s?), someone snapped a photo of a Mack dump truck fully encased in rime ice which became another advertising point for the "World's Worst Weather". My dad had a t-shirt with that image on it, and I recently saw an old poster of the truck at the Mack dealership in Worcester. Like other famous mountain images (like Inga with Rime) it seems to have been "retired", but I'm sure someone has an electronic version of that photo somewhere.
You must be referring to this? (http://www.mountwashington.org/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=115)
It's still available.
