View Full Version : ARVP sensors seem to have gone down

Looks like the extended cloud cover may have exhausted the battery packs on the Auto Road stations. Sorry to see a break in the data stream. Does anyone know if these systems have an internal data logger that might continue to collect information when in a low power situation?

Maybe all they needed was a little sunshine. They are back up this AM.

Yes, they log the data. To conserve battery power the transmitters shutdown, while data continues to be collected for several days.

Thanks for the info, do you know if there are any specs published anywhere for these instrument packages?

I think they were made by Campbell Scientific, other than that I don't know.

15 minutes of refreshing and you can probably figure it out.
