We needed a smaller, easier hike to do today and we saw this one in Joey's list, looked it up in the White Mountain Guide and set off for Rumney. There was no snow to speak of, and we are in that magic window between the cold weather and the return of the biting insects. The flowers are up, but haven't blossomed yet. We were amazed at the views to distant 4000 footers from this small mountain. Nice way to spend a morning.

It must be nice to live there and to go out every weekend and hike a new mountain. The best I can do is cram in three or four hikes a year at best. I do enjoy your photos though.:)
