No...one more outburst like that and you're banned. ;)
I challenge you to start a Mountain Range A-Z. Then you can put in the Catskills, plus that would be an interesting thread.

Well, you didn't say it had to be in NH (or even in the US), so my vote is for Corcovado (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corcovado) in Rio

Keeping with the Brazilian motif (Corcovado), I'll nominate Urca, next to Sugarloaf moutain (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sugarloaf_Mountain,_Brazil), "one of the largest urban climbing areas in the world, with more than 270 routes".

How did I do that? It must have been real early in the morning - or some such excuse.
Does Yosemite Point in CA count? It is just to the east of Upper Yosemite Falls. Wow, the view from there would be awesome.

Ya know, I've been to Alaska and it was great, I've been to the Smoky Mtns. and alot of others in the Appalacian Chain from GA to Maine and they are o.k.. I've never been to the rockies and don't really care if I do. What I am saying is the only Mountains I really can't resist are the Whites. I don't understand it but there is something special about those mountains that draws me. It's the only choice for my vacations.
Am I strange???
