Is it just me or is the website having issues today (load times)?

I'm on a pretty killer fast Comcast broadband connection, so I don't think it's on my side (but I could be wrong)

There has been some network instability at the data center mountwashington.org is hosted at. Technicians have been addressing the issue, and an upgrade of the network routers is planned for tonight which should hopefully resolve it altogether.

Load time for me to get to the home page is 9.141 seconds. Will be interesting to see what it tomorrow.

The refresh time for a forum page was just 6.765 seconds.

Precision only to 3 decimal places? Tsk, tsk, tsk. No Vulcan are you. :D

As of 8:30 p.m., I am no longer experiencing any long load times as I was this afternoon.

To enter this comment the page loaded in 0.766 seconds. With FireFox there is a n extension that gives page load times at the bottom of the window.

The home page loaded in 0.610 seconds.

Earlier today, say around 10 or 11 am the site was kind of laggy but all seems good now!

Earlier today, say around 10 or 11 am the site was kind of laggy but all seems good now! Well, when it rains it pours (or is it when there is a breeze it gusts?), anyway there was a rise in latency this morning as a result of a bad network cable connection; the cable was replaced shortly after the problem was noticed this am, and the latency cleared up.
