STP Facebook page is suggesting, without telling, that a Sunday climb might be better. We are going to play it by ear, up tomorrow and hotel through the weekend anyway. Sunday sounds like a beautiful day...wish we could get up earlier on Friday and do it then.

Weather looks pretty terrible up there now. Wait, I meant average.
The forecast given by the obs pretty much sums up everyday in the Colorado Rockies, yet people still climb them everyday. Their solution is to start early and move quickly.
1pm and the cold front is still over Lake Champlain.
2pm and the storms are beginning to fire ahead of the front. Hope everyone is down by now, should get exciting soon.
