I just wasn't sure about the exacts of 'building-induced wind exaggeration.' I emailed the owner of Grandfather Mtn to see if he could provide some details on how their old anemometer was set up, since that arrangement was deemed to be a poor one.
Speaking of wind gusts. the wind is up right now and the snow is blowing for real - into Tuckermans Ravine!
