Is any one haveing trouble opening the forums with ie8. My computers with older versions work but not my computers with ie8
The upgrade was tested with IE8 (under WinXP), and I have just verified that it still works. Some people reporting problems have been able to clear them up by deleting their cookies and cache. If that doesn't do it, post detailed information on the trouble you are having.

I sent in emails about trouble/bug I was having three days ago, not the same as what's being reported in the forum. Can you look at them or can I send you a PM.
Thanks
Hi Karen - if these are generic bugs, reply in this thread in case others are experiencing similar problems. If it's something account specific, go ahead and PM me. I'll also check on what happened to your original email as I'm not the one who does the initial processing of those messages.
Karen, I am on IE8 right now and it is fine. What are your issues like?
My cell phone is Windows Mobile. When I went to the regular www.mountwashington.org site and then to the forum, the forum was not very usable.
When I went to the MW mobile site www.mountwashington.org/mobile and then used the link to the forum, then it was a lot easier to read and threfore, log in. Once you put in the ID and PW there is an intermediate screen with a mesage so small I could not read it (it was something about redirecting). It did not clear on its own. So, I had to try to select it (hard to do) and then I was on the forums fine.
Hobbes - sent you a PM
Hey BB
I just sent Hobbes a PM, I think it's a UN/PW issue. Which = it's me...;)
Thank you Hobbes...
I have been doing a little playing around here.It seems my new Mcafee has a thing called site advisor. It was blocking the forums with IE8. Add the forums as a trusted site and it works fine. Just a side note. I have the same version of Mcafee with site advisor on my computers with IE7 and it works fine without adding as a trusted site. Computers? Go figure
