First day of Snow Contest

Put me down for 10/11 I should have my snow making, mountain moving machine done by then.

And because of Billysinc's comment about starting up his snow making equipment and working to move the mountain we have set special controls in place. 1) We all know that snow making is a flakey business. So, we are not too concerned with his possible success. The high winds will probably blow his fluff away. 2) We have installed a highly accurate GPS device on the summit to record if the mountain does get moved. We will all know the cause of said movement and bring out our billy clubs.

Let the precise guesses continue to come in.

Since us New Jersey folk won in 2008 I will guess the same as njgail. My guess is 10/1.

We have to have official approval to do this - from njgail11 - as this is against rule #1. But, in the case of NJ folks who don't follow rules well anyway, this might be okay.

NJ may not be the greatest place, but there some some pretty Great people over here...:p

So, I just got an email that said the first snowfall of the season has occured yesterday. The summit picked up .4" and I see no one guessed that day.

I see the contest goes until the first 2" ammount happens. I guess I really should get my eyes checked before I post anything. :o
