There are so many things packed in on the Auto Road's calendar for this year it must have been hard to schedule everything. The June date is not the last Sunday of the month.
The day before the June Sunrise Drive is the running Road Race. There are so many races this year it is hard to keep them straight. It would be fun to be up on the Road taking pictures on Saturday also. Chris, would you be up for that too?
I might be Brad. Of course June/July is the coming close to hopefully moving North.:D:D

You need to check out the Auto Road's events web page to see what they have coming up. This is a big year for them.

It all kicked off with a gathering on New Years Eve which ended with a great fireworks display shot off from their parking area beside the entrance to the Auto Road. Their estimate is that 600 people showed up for this - and totally surprised them with how many folks came out. I may be starting my vacation up there on July 24th. Do you drive your own car up or does the auto van take you?
One can do either for regular drives. I am not sure they use the vans for the Sunrise Drives though. I always drive myself - and stop several times up and down - and my own thing - whenever I drive up.Quote:
