A third of the way into the month and the F6 report is showing a current high temp of 26 degrees. What do the remaining 18 days of the month bring? Do we have a warm up in the future? Does April stay cold and snow on the summit? Only time will tell.

Wow... What a difference a few days can make. It looks like we'll finally get into the contest numbers today.
Through the 15th of the month, the high temp is now 43 degrees. Decent temperatures have finally arrived on the summit.
And Whitemtnvisitor is in the lead with 57. Will they be able to hold that position, as Brian Clark has mentioned in yesterdays Observer Comments that more seasonable levels with be back by Wednesday?
Sure enough, more seasonable temperatures did return to the summit after the somewhat brief warming period. And now with highs in the mid-teens forecast through Sunday, Whitemtnvisitor appears to have this contest locked up.
And the winner of the April High Temp. contest for April 2012 is......
Whitemtnvisitor picked 57 degrees exactly hit on April 16th.
Congratulations!!! Your prize will be in the mail shortly....:p
Congratulations Whitemtnvisitor! :)
Another fun contest comes to an end! I would like to dedicate this to Brad. I didn't know Brad, but these contests he set up have always brought a smile to my face. It has been so much fun trying to pick that lucky number that will match what mother nature decides to deliver for the month, be it snow, rain, wind, or temps. He obviously touched a lot of people as is evident by the many recent posts throughout these forums. Obviously, he will be greatly missed by a lot of the MWOBS forum members...
Thank you Kathy for posting the winner!:D
I'm sure Brad is saying "Well Done!"with a big smile on his face....
