Today's trip to Mt. Garfield was quite surprising...I haven't seen such a forgiving side from the 4000-footers in quite a while! Great day to be out...check out my blog for the story and all the pictures:

By the way...you'll have to recommend some good hikes in PA for me. I'm moving down to Harrisburg next week.
Good luck with your move! I'd be happy to recommend some good hikes. Most that I know of are along the AT where it passes through the state. Two of my favorites along the AT are east of Harrisburg: The Pinnacle in Hamburg, and the Delaware Water Gap at the border of PA and NJ. MOAB149 (Dave) on these forums, an avid hiker, lives in the Gettysburg area. I am sure he would recommend many good trails in the central part of the state. Happy Independence Day tomorrow!
