Nice report Adam! Glad you got to see your first moose while hiking the 4K. I've yet to see one on the trail myself. Although, I'm planning on hiking Mt Roosevelt this week, so one never knows. It's...
Another great TR and set of photos! Thanks for bringing us along to the beautiful state of Maine. Enjoy Mt. Abraham when you go back.
Come on Mother Nature! You can do it. Just a little more. :D
Great idea Adam! My guess is going to be 15 degrees. Thanks!
Love your photos and TRs Adam! I've done very little hiking in Maine, and what you show really makes me want to get up there. Thanks for sharing!
Nice pictures Kevin! Glad you are okay after falling. Thanks for sharing!
We may just need that fan. :D Come on Mother Nature!
Very nice billysinc! The view from the deck is beautiful. Enjoy!
Hi d.b.cooperisalive! We didn't realize it was you on the way up. It was very nice chatting with you and your son as we passed each other repeatedly. And it's good to hear the cramps subsided and you...
Thank you KathyC! :)
Seek the Peak, the event that we The Kilted Hikers wait all year for, was once again upon us. Months of fundraising
had gone well, and now it was time to climb beautiful Mount Washington. Most of us...
Great report Kevin! The path you took, as illustrated in your photos, looks very nice. I have done a few cheater hikes on The Rockpile in the past as well without any guilt. Whether starting at the...
Nice pictures and report Adam! Vermont has some great hiking spots. Your photos show me that I should get back there soon, as it's been quite some time since I've been there. Especially like your...
Good evening tdb1977! Were you at Seek the Peak this year? If you weren't, it was an absolute success and loads of fun. If you were there, then you know. :)
My guess is going to be 86 mph.
It looks like it was a beautiful day to be out there hiking Adam. Congratulations on checking two more off your list. Thanks for sharing!
Congratulations Moa57 on a good win!
Very nice photo of you and your son Chris!
The event is right around the corner now! :) I will be with Armando and The Kilted Hikers. Cannot wait to see you and everyone again!
Moa57 is closer to 50, so....
Nice pictures d.b. cooperisalive! Looks like it was a good sunrise. Have never done one, but it is on the to do list.
That is a beautiful photo! Welcome back Patrick.
It's really hard to tell. If they were taken facing somewhat NE from that trail, they could lower parts of Wildcat or Middle Carter.
Hi simons mom! From my experience hiking in The Whites for some time now, those nasty black flies are usually all gone by July and August. But, I haven't been up there yet this year. I'm sure others...
I also agree, the best is Ammo up and Jewell down. It takes a while to get into tree line going down the Jewell too, so the views are nice if there aren't many clouds.
Great looking pictures Kevin! It's good to hear that the nasty bugs were balanced out by the beauty of the flowers and scenery. You two are diehards for sure! :) Thanks for sharing.
