In CT it was in the 60's the other day and today we are getting a ton of snow....gotta love that New England weather......wait 5 minutes it will change...:)

The Ob Deck I can figure out but are the others on top of the mountain just pointed in different directions?? Or are they located at different spots up...

Are you guys prepared for medical emrgencies during a storm like last night?? It's not like if someone needs medical attention you can just hop in a car and drive them the ER during a 130 MPH wind...

What about wind and snow as far a visibility.....I assume it gets so bad up there that when the snow and wind are blowing around the visibility or lack there of would cause you guys not to venture...

Is there a wind speed where it just isn't safe to venture outside??

What does 100 MPH plus sustained winds sound like....down here we may get the rare wind gust of 50 MPH and it makes the windows shutter but than the gust is over.

What kind if damage does it cause...

1. With the high winds the summit gets, I would assume that the snow doesn't gather on the deck to the point it has to be shoveled off. Since I see wind speeds in excess of 100 MPH after it stops...

The COG is an experience in itself....you need to check w/ them first before making the trip over to that side of the mountain (unless you live on that side).....I doubt they would venture up w/...

I am fond of the weather starting in October thru May as when we have a weather front going thru, this is the first site I check to see what is going on on top of the Mt.
