Default Huntington snow??? Need Help Quick...

Hey all...saw pics of someone climbing south gully in huntington on 5/5....And it was full of snow. Does anyone know if this is still the case with the warm weather and all the rain we've been getting?

    Heading up tomorrow night....

Not sure, but you can always check the webcams. That's what the zooms are for.

Which likely means that nobody has been up there. I would count on there being at least some snow in there. Too much for a hike up, not enough for ice climbing. This is kind of the off season for those routes.

perfect what im looking for. Im looking specifically at south gully as a snow climb. also maybe some snow to practice some crevasse rescue techniques using pickets instead of fence posts. ; )

Thanks. If anyone is up there this weekend...We'll be the guys hiking up with the mtneering gear.

If Huntingtons is dry you can always try Tucks. Just watch out for falling ice and skiers.

I setup crevasses rescue pulley systems in my condo...just like the real thing.
