The best case scenario is fall 2008, but the likely scenario is summer 2009. We'll know a lot more after the next Mt. Washington Commission meeting in June.
I'd be happy to post that info here once we get it.

Reviving this old post due to the update in the observers comments from the other day. Just one question that I have that was asked before, but I never saw an answer. Will a dedicated hard line, either fiber or copper be also installed for communications and or internet? If not, has anyone considered an application of broadband over powerline? It just seems that this could be a major improvement to the capabilities of the observatory.
