Default Interesting Conference nearby at Mt Wash Resort

Well interesting to me at least. The MAPPS summer conference is being held at Mt Wash Resort in July. What the heck is MAPPS you ask? See here

For details on the conference see

For the observatory, it could be an opportunity to sell some of the Washburn Prints. There could be some other tie-ins that I can't think of now as well.

I know one thing, New England snowmobilers are crying for a mapping system that would cover off road trails! Develop it, they will buy it.

I would think that XMap from Delorme would be a good tool for this. One can import data to layer on top of Delorme's Topo maps. A Snowmobile Club could create their own import data layer. And offer the data file for sale to members of other clubs.

For that matter Google Earth would also work pretty well as a web application. For paper, Brads suggestion would probably work a bit better. If any club were to use a GPS to locate the routes, uploading to either would be a snap.
