    Default Sunrise/sunset

This mornings sunrise videos on the ravinecam and particularly on the westview cam are outstanding. Watching the clouds form and dissipate is something that I really enjoy. Last nights Presidentials cam sunset video is likewise excellent.

I'd vote for the West View. Great colors and nice clouds. Even some valley fog skipping around the valleys near the cog base and US-302.

Those bright dots that look like stars aren't actually stars though. I think they are just hot pixels.

And at 5:05 PM yesterday afternoon we saw this on the ravines camera.

    Default Ravine Cam

Whoah! A fogbow! Or is it a white rainbow? What do meteorologists call it?

To Bill: I've noticed those rogue pixels before, they could easily be mistaken for stars.

I think its just a regular rainbow but the image quality isn't good enough to capture all the colors.

    Default Rainbow

Looks like another definite rainbow on last nights Presidential sunset cam!
I've found the end of the rainbow and it appears to be Marshfield Station! Where's the pot of gold? Must be Mount Washington!
