    Default Photos of Cog Railroad?

I've yet to visit Mt. Wahington, and have always been intrigued by the workings of a cog railway. Does anyone have photos that show just how this machine works?

    Hello EC:
Thank you. Those are great photos, and I finally understand how the cog system works.

Here is a picture of my grandson looking down the track at a train going up - near the summit.

Default a must see and smell!

there's nothing like standing at the base camp on a crisp day in the fall...combined with the smell of burning coal coming from the cog...perfect!

The http://www.mountwashingtoncograilwayskitrains.com/ Ski Train site says the cars are heated. However, the ski trains start running November 24th.
