More great weather and another fantastic hike in the White Mountains. From the parking area on Tripoli Road in Waterville Valley we traveled east on Livermore Road. We ascended North Tripyramid by the Scaur Ridge Trail which is a little overgrown, but infinitely easier than the North Slide on the Mount Tripyramid Trail. Scaur Ridge Trail ends at the junction with the Pine Bend Brook Trail, which then leads to the summit of North Tripyramid. From there we crossed Middle and South Tripyramid and descended by the South Slide. Wildflowers along the Livermore Road and on the mountain trails were outstanding. The weather was like a high pressure September day with no humidity. A great day. Full report and pictures here:
