When we moved into our cabin in Maine years ago we started a Guest Book - which has been great to go back through over the years. At the back of the book we started a log of all the hikes on Mt Washington. The date - who went - what trails - summit or not - weather conditions.

When we started this I went back through old pictures and estimated the number of summit hikes I had done since my first time at age 13 when in summer camp in NH. I just updated the logbook and this STP was #50 summit hike for me. So, it was a special day in many ways.

This was both my first Seek the Peak as well as very first hike to the summit of ANY mountain! I'm already thinking about StP '08!

This was our first Seek-the-Peak event. It was great! We are blocking out the date for next year!
