Eisenhower Trip Report

Conditions were great. The trail had one small blow down but it was ankle height. Easy to step over. Footing on some slabs was touchy from recent rain and leftover mud. Other than that it was light with bugs and pleasant. Upper streams were non existent. Summit was clear and beautiful with light winds.

Hi Lloyd,
Beautiful pictures from Eisenhower! We did it for Flags on the 48 last year and it's a great hike up Edmund's Path! It looks like you has significantly better weather than we did! Gorgeous!

Is that a White Admiral in pics #1 and 2?

I am still trying to identify all the butterflies and skippers I have seen in that area over the last month or so.

It is so hard to tell... white admiral sounds good to me. lol

Can you see many other flags on that day?

From Eisenhower, we could only see two others: Jackson and Pierce. When we looked towards Mt Monroe/Washington, it was just black clouds.
