If your not a OBS member yet then what are you waiting for
What do you think I look like now?
Pictures from this morning are at http://public.fotki.com/bradbradstre...waterski/2007/ - There are so many I will probably split the albums by person. Just no time to do it now. It is the time of year to tear things down and get the place ready for the winter.
I did split them - so they are the September 1st albums

Steve
Is there really any BAD weather???
The camera is a Canon D60 (a hand me down from my son) with a 100-500mm lens. The morning light for ski pictures can be tough till the sun really gets up.
There were 5 of us in a friend's boat this morning. So, I was a spotter. I just watched the skier through a long lens.

And I took it on STP with the standard lens - and a wide angle - and the 500mm zoom. It was a lot of added weight. You should see my son's new camera! It is awesome.Originally Posted by hawk
My son did give me a very good deal on the price of the D60.

That's a really great picture. I'd love to see a full moon shot from that camera. Did you blacken the surrounding sky, or were conditions (humidity, light pollution, cloud cover) just very favorable.
