Everyone was up and out early. Yes, there is plenty of snow - and the roads were icy this morning. We might be taking the kids tubing and sledding again tomorrow after it all freezes again.

That sounds great. I miss sledding. I remember in CT when it would snow then get freezing rain and we could walk on top of the icy snow. We would get our flexible flyers out and go forever on that ice.

This just happened on my web camera at the lake. The almost full moon showing through the clouds and the light bouncing off the ice on the lake in front of the camera.

How much ice is up there? Snow on the ground?

from one of the other cams it looks like its almost gone

Yes, most of the snow even in the woods is gone. The ice is about to go out. Yesterday as I was watching the camera - when in the car - the ice is starting to turn dark. This is the last sign before it goes.

Yes, it will go very quickly once it turns dark since it will absorb the sunlight.

Today we can see it breaking up along the shore. I will check it out in person tomorrow.
