Quite true. But, I would never say a sunrise in Maine or NH is a dud. We have had lots of rain recently and the sunrises have not been visible. A couple of days there was not a cloud in the sky which does make the sunrise very dull.

I know you previously said that the lights to the SW are from Portland, but could it just be Windham? It sure looks close. Still can't believe how that camera captures starlight.

A slight correction - Portland is to the SE. And you are right that Windham is in between and it could be the source of the light. Even now there is quite a strong light to the SE. You may be right that Windham could be the major light source.

These Toshiba cameras are excellent in low light even when kept in color mode. When they switch to B&W at low light they are even better. I like sunrise in color mode, so the cameras stay in color mode all the time. For outdoors they are excellent.

I am most likely going to head to the camp Sunday. I will be going solo since I have Monday off, but my wife does not. Are you going to be around?

Really cool stuff! And at this time of year I prefer watching your sunrises from the warmth and comfort of my den.

By the way, the Tallahassee airport reported a low this morning of 28 degrees. Maybe now Charlie will see why I need that coat.

If you use FireFox or IE 7, open a web page. Then go to a new tab and then go to the web camera. The re-size is only done if it is the only tab open.
