Steve,
The sunrise pictures sure show a large shift in where the sun comes up now! I have moved the camera several notches to the left to get the sunrise in the picture again.

Brad correctly pointed out that this plugin doesn't work in the current version of Firefox (or anything later than 2.0). However this one does (IE Tab):Originally Posted by mtruman

It is a bit of a cheat since what it does is use the IE engine in a Firefox tab. Just tried it with Brad's web cams and it works fine. The nice thing is that you keep all your regular Firefox features while using the IE rendering tab (OK, most of them). You can also configure it to automatically switch to IE rendering when particular URLs are opened. So, for example, you just configure longlake.homeip.net as an IE site and Brad's cams are always just a click away![]()

Takes a little bit of playing but it does work well.

If your not a OBS member yet then what are you waiting for
6288 (Steve), it looks like you have open water in front of your cabin. How can that be with us having almost 4 feet of snow on the ground still?

The water in front of our place is at the outlet of the pond and the start of the Muddy river (which flows into Naples). With the recent rains I believe the water levels have risen and the flow intensified. It has little to do with the temperature, I have seen it open and close in temps below zero. But 40 degrees days are also starting to factor in.
we still have several feet of snow on the ice and then probably a couple of feet of ice.

It won't take but a few really warm spring days to put a dent in all that ice and snow.Originally Posted by Brad

Yes - in August.
When I was working in NY and going to Maine every weekend, we used to put the ski boat in the water May 1st and start waterskiing. That was normally about 2 weeks after Ice Out.
