Stupid question.. but.....how many pavers were used to pave the observation deck?

I don't think anybody has counted them. It would be a curious sight to see... a bunch of people counting cement pavers on the summit of Mt Washington.

Get an intern out there, one that is good with math. I bet they can get an estimate within 10% of the actual number in a matter of minutes.

OOOO....OOOO How about one for the Guiness World Book of Records.....who has counted the most pavers ( enter no.) on the summit of Mt. Washington...."Home of the Worlds Worst Weather"?

You could get a pretty good estimate just counting them from the Deck Cam.

And remember a few years ago that a strong wind in the summer lifted some of the pavers and moved them. I recall they weigh something like 80 pounds. In the winter the ice prevents them from being blown around.
