Wait until winter when the big inversions setup.
It's textbook this morning. MWN under warm air advection while the valleys decoupled. Should see a strong rebound in valley temperature todays as that warmer air mixes down to the valleys.

It has warmed up quite nicely in the valleys and on the mountain.
Interestingly, it's 66 in Portsmouth, NH right now, and 64 on Mount Washington. That doesn't happen often in the middle of the afternoon!!!

Yeah I noticed that on the NOAA website. At first I thought it may have been a mistake when it was warmer than down here in Gorham
