Default non-technical hike to the summit?

    Hello,

I would like to try to summit tomorrow. If I start at Pinkham Notch and go up the Tuckerman Ravine trails , will that bring me to the summit without the need to do any technical climbs? I would define technical climb as pulling myself up over boulders or jumping over a drop off to continue a hike.. I also do NOT like hiking on the edge of a drop off...a few feet in from a drop off is fine Vertigo and I don't get along (go figure, I ski, mtn bike etc) anyway.....

I'm a beginner "hiker" (in pretty good shape) and just like a long, steep hike....I have gone up the Tuckermans Ravine Trail before in mid October and experienced the snow and wind and turned back right above the signs for the SKI AREA due to sustained winds of 110MPH...

Is this the best trail to take or does anyone suggest something else that will still get me to the summit? Again, I dont mind the length of the trail or the incline.

    Thanks!
