    Default Sorry!

I want to see it ALL removed! Yes, even the Obs! Give it back to the wild!

Actually I think that everything but the obs should go. At least the obs is performing a valuable function, sort of "giving back" to nature rather than just taking from it. One day we will have cloaking tech. and no one will even know it is there until they run into it and flatten their noses on it.

I don't know. I do like their French Fries.

I can see where Kevin is coming from. Excluding the obs it would be nice to clean up the summit. Some minor removals would make big visible difference. Read, the antennas and leftover concrete slabs.

If I had to pick one over the other I'd keep the cog and dump the auto road.

As far as mountain top clutter goes. Just be glad you don't live in Europe. Back in their hey day they took over the summits. If it doesn't have an observatory or a train their is a skiers tram going to the top. Not to mention they cut down all the trees so now the people in the valleys don't get to sleep very well when it snows.

You know the Eiger? The Swiss carved a railway through that mountain and cut holes in the North Face. At the top the train pulls into a station and unloads people into a giant observatory, straddling a high ridge between the Eiger and the Jungfrau. It blows away the activities on Mount Washington.

And it's still refreshing to know there is chili and ice cream at the top

That would be a good April Fool's joke for the observer comments.

Nice job on the MWO sign. I see you borrowed the letters from the Hollywood sign and just flipped over the W to make the M.

The only problem with some of these comments (as if there is only one) is that the Obs leases the space at the top from the Park system. Try to push them out of the way and MWO will be sliding down into Huntington Ravine. We really do need to keep the landlord happy.
