Right, that's the shortest day of the year, plus or minus a day or two. But the latest sunrise in New England is not on 12/21, nor is it within a few days of 12/21.

Or up late. Folks who enjoy chronic pain have no set sleep periods. We try to sleep but something keeps us up. Eventually it's "pass out" time. Then it's lather, rinse, repeat.

Right. I was playing around on the internet and the latest sunrise in my area is on November 3rd.

Don't worry too much about the actual time since it varies by latitude, longitude and altitude.

But for my area sunrise on November 3rd is 7:29, the latest it gets around the solstice is 7:21. With DST ending a week later it changed everything, especially since we are losing light at the fastest rate this time of year.

So the very next day the sunrise will be at 6:29. I wish the sunrise could be that early down here. I don't like getting up and out in the dark.
