    Default Mount Washington Gallery

Just wanted to post some of my Mount Washington photos:

This is a gallery of photos that I recently showed at my local library:

This is a photo journal I did after a winter on the summit. There is some overlap here with the galley:

And finally some wildflower pics I took this spring:

Aaah, the blue and white contrast reminds me of the season we are about to enter.

    Smile Great Photos

    Bill,
thanks for sharing the photos. There were some awesome shots, especially the sun setting over Killington Peak. Keep them coming. Wy wife and I went to the top via the Cog for the first time 3 weeks ago, right before the real snow came in. There was a lite coating when we were there. I need to get to the top and spend a day there, but I dont know if I can drive up the auto road. But i think that is the only way to spend time at the top since the cog only gives you 20 minutes and the van I think is the same. One day, as we just moved to Southern NH 3 months ago.
    thanks again

Bill, I found your website some months ago when this forum first started and I have been meaning to tell you how much I liked it. It is excellent. I especially like the pictures of the Ice Hotel. I am also glad that you are staying connected to the MWO through this website and forum. Any plans for visiting the summit soon? You hit the nail on the head with your predictions of the strongest winds for last night.

    Thanks for all the comments.

Kevin, I think I got lucky with that wind forecast. I was convinced that things were winding down after the Sunday afternoon peak gusts so I was very surprised when I woke up Monday morning. I should have trusted the models a little more as they nailed the timing for Sunday afternoon and early Monday morning. Although the timing was right, the intensity was not well forecasted.
