Default Frost & Foliage- from the air

Taken today, 10/16/2007 from about 6,000', SW of Crawford Notch (I think! )

    Wow, thanks for sharing.

The foliage is amazing. Oh, and the snowcapped Mount Washington is a nice backdrop as well.

I think your south east over Pinkham Notch. Boott Spur is directly in front of you. To the right, Tucks(sort of hidden) and Huntington Ravines and behind that Mt. Adams. To the Left up on the ridge is Mt. Monroe then Mt Franklin.

    Default Southeast

Steve's got the angle right. It's southeast of Pinkham. Nice shot!

That is a BEAUTIFUL shot. I hope I didn't sound like I was correcting you, just clarifying, that's all.

No offense taken, Steve - thanks for the "re-location". It's very easy to lose track of where you are while lining up a shot at 80MPH.

Thank you all for the kind words as well.

    Bill,

Do you use plane-mounted cameras - or are they hand held? Do you take passengers with their camera(s)? I have heard in situations like this (moving at 80MPH) Image Stabilization does not work well. What is your experience?
