Thanks, Ditto Charlie, he's not a hiker though. Duncan's just too big to go too far. My fear is that we'd get a few miles in and he would just lay down. (unless I had a 50lb pack full of treats) There are many times I go hiking and wish I had a companion like Emma or Rosie.

Rosie is a bloodhound and she is OK on trails on in the woods but she would not do good on the rocks .they don't have the balance because they use there nose and not there eyes ,the folds of skin cover her eyes 1/2 way when here head is down .thats why she walks into car bumpers ,trees and other things
