New to the Forum
For years now the first thing I do in the morning when I log on to my computer is to check the view and weather from the MWO Tower camera. It is one of the best ways I know to start the day.
I started volunteering at the the MWO in 2001. Since then I have been on the summit during February, March, April, May, August, September and October. What an enriching experience! Meeting new people and being part of the crew. Cooking for 25. Taking down antennas. Pre-fire quiet on the summit. Dead calm and 124 mph winds. Great hikes. Not to mention tele-skiing the parking lot gully.
But most of all it is the people.
My next volunteer tour is not until October 2007. I may not be albe to wait. I might just come back earlier. At least for a visit.
Yes, Mt Wash is a great place to meet interesting people. The longer you stay, the more you meet.
