The COLORS of November...
MikeD was kind enough to lend me a piece of his floorspace this weekend, and I caught two great sunrises and a sunset over the presidential range. November can be uninspiring, but with snow on the peaks, and great light like we had, well, I have no complaints...
Here's sunrise and sunset from yesterday...I likely won't process this morning's INCREDIBLE sunrise until tomorrow...

Was it bluebird skies up there today? Here in Manchester it was blue and a crisp 26 at 6:15am when I went for a 2 mile hike.
I knew I should have driven up to the Mt Washington Hotel to take some shots..

This morning was spectacular from only a few locations. I meant to go to reflection pond in shelburne, but could see the low clouds from the height of land in Pinkham. From the auto road, you could see the summit's undercast to the west pouring over the great gulf, and if you see the west view sunrise movie, you'll see you didn't miss much from there...
However, in the Pinkham Window, and on the North View Cam...sunrise was SPECTACULAR...

Wow! At first glance I thought I was looking at a photo shot in Montana or something, the colors, the snow, the beauty!
Great job!
And it's in my "backyard" (ok, I'm in Manchester, but my backyard goes all the way to the Canadian border!)
