It looks like Google maps has been updated for the MWO area. (Actually, they have done a lot all over the world!). Looking at MWO from above you can see the lakes and trails. Very cool.

holy cow, finally some good satellite images of the mountain.

Wow, that's a big improvement from their old satellite images of Mount Washington.
If you want to take full advantage of their satellite products I suggest downloading Google Earth.
Hi guys,
I don't know if you ever have the need to embed these maps in your own web pages, and I hope it's ok me posting this here, but we've developed a tool in conjunction with Google Maps that makes it very easily to quickly add custom maps to your site. If you'd like to check it out, the URL is http://www.aardvarkmap.net - any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks
Aaron
I think I see Jim slinging on the deck:

Ah, Jim sleeping on the deck. Must be him.Originally Posted by Mike D

So, I checked out my daughter's driveway in NC. No cars. Looked at my son's driveway and my wife's car and his car are in his driveway. My car is not around.
So, I checked out the boat storage area down at Lake Jordan south of Chapel Hill. The storage slot for my boat is empty. Slid over a bit to check out the launch ramp and there is a black Suburban with a ski boat behind it ON THE RAMP. That is me.

I can't believe how well the "Winter Cut-Off" still shows up. Besides a few skiers that route really isn't used anymore. If it is, it's only in winter, under a deep snowpack.
