Maybe Forestgnome is too modest to post this...
Here's one of his previous posts on the "Views From the Top" forum...

I think he knows their names by now. And they seem to not be bothered by him.

Anyone find that thread about the rutting moose - no pictures as ForestGnome was too close to them?

There's no shortage of moose in NH. We saw one on the auto road close to tree line. I've also seen moose on more than one occasion at the intersection of US-2 and NH-115 near Jefferson.
Oh, and to answer your question. I saw a moose while hiking in the Uintahs in Utah.
Seeing all of those beautiful phots just brings tears to my eyes, just so gorgious.Originally Posted by Brad
I love moose, I've seen quite a few just past the Olivarian trail on the Kanc. Every time we've gone at dusk and they come out. When I was in North Conway this past October I bought a painting of a moose, he's in the woods surrounded by trees in the snow. It's hanging in my living room and worth every penny, I stare at it every day. But it doesn't compare to some of the photos I've seen here....
