At least you got blue skies for the start.
I remember hiking Willey in mid-February in 2004. It was a crystal clear and cold day with just a few wispy clouds around Mt Wash (behaving themselves and not obscuring the summit). I took pictures until my hands got numb and glisaded (sp?) back to the Ripley Falls trail head. It wasn't until a couple months later, when I was looking through my photos, that I realized it was the Presidential range on President's Day. (Lincoln wasn't in the picture though.)
That was after hiking Cannon on Groundhog's Day... what does that mean?
